Leipzig Mahzor (Ms. V. 1102/I-II) : God saves Abraham from the fire of Nimrod. Ca.1320. Nimrod sits on his throne, while Terah stands before him, wearing a crown-like head covering and a cape. Abraham and Haran stand behind their father, both wearing medieval Jewish attire. The burnt figure of Haran lies at Terah’s feet, while to the right Abraham is saved from the fire by God’s hand.
